About Me
Hi, I’m Ciara and I am so happy you are here! I’m a fully licensed clinical social worker who specializes in supporting teens, young adults, and adults through life’s challenges. I’m passionate about helping people navigate anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, stress, major life transitions, and relationship or family dynamics.

In our work together, I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I believe therapy should feel like a safe, collaborative space where you can be yourself, explore your story, and build the skills you need to create meaningful, lasting change.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Saginaw Valley State University in 2021 and my Master’s degree in Social Work from Michigan State University in 2022. Since then, I’ve worked with individuals and families from many different backgrounds and life experiences, always with the goal of helping each person build resilience and take healthy steps toward their best quality of life.

Outside of my work, I’m deeply connected to my Michigan roots and love spending time outdoors — especially near the water. I enjoy running, exploring new trails, and making memories with my family. Some of the photographs featured on this site were taken by me, reflecting the beauty and moments that inspire me — the same authenticity, connection, and appreciation I bring into the therapy space.
Saginaw Valley State University, 2021
I graduated from Saginaw Valley State University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Social Work and a minor in Youth Services. My education provided a solid foundation in social work principles, with a particular focus on supporting and advocating for young people. This combination of academic training has equipped me with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively address the unique challenges faced by youth in various social contexts.
Michigan State University, 2022
I completed the Advanced Standing Master Program in Clinical Social Work at Michigan State University, graduating in 2022. This program allowed me to build upon my foundational knowledge and gain specialized skills in clinical practice. The advanced coursework and hands-on training prepared me to effectively diagnose and treat a range of mental health issues, equipping me to provide high-quality, evidence-based interventions to my clients.
